Rendr — Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 3, 2026
The short version: Rendr collects nothing. There are no
accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no servers of ours. Everything you open
stays on your device.
What the app accesses
- A folder you choose. When you pick a folder, Rendr reads the
.htmlfiles and subfolders inside it so it can display them. This access stays on your device. - On-device preferences. The app saves a secure bookmark to your chosen folder and your icon/color choices using Apple's standard on-device storage. These never leave your device.
What the app does not do
- It does not collect or transmit any personal data.
- It does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind.
- It does not create accounts or require sign-in.
- It does not send your files or folder contents anywhere.
Web content
HTML files you open are loaded locally on your device. If a page links to an external website, tapping that link opens it in Safari; any data handling there is governed by that website's own policy, not Rendr's.
Children's privacy
Rendr collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
